BIANCAVILLA (5 Min)

Biancavilla is a large agricultural center in Catania’s province.  Because of its proximity to the Mount Etna Regional Park, this village is surrounded by forests that are well-known, but this area is also famous for its permanent pasturelands, local food producers (for example growers of almonds, grapes, prickly-pears and citrus) and manufacturers of clothing, furniture and building materials. Biancavilla is appreciated for its restaurants, the manufacture of handcrafted designs in lava rock, pottery and the sale of art objects.
